Co-curricular activities
All of our students are highly encouraged to take part in co-curricular activities which form an essential part of their Richmond Experience. It helps our students to reach new heights in developing their skills and passions and leads to higher levels of motivation and engagement.
Sport, Art, Music, Drama & Dance
Our drive towards sports at Richmond International School is founded in the concept of Positive Wellbeing through physical activity. We believe in creating inclusive spaces for play, a mind-set of achievement & healthy habits for “whole person” development.
Sports & other physical activities are designed to fit each student, aimed to offer opportunity, choice and empowerment. Our sports coach guides everyone to discover their confidence, passions and potential for optimal wellbeing.
The visual arts are an integral part of the experiential learning curve of our students as we value creativity as an essential learning nature that impacts throughout life. Our students can express their ideas though a wide range of art & media forms such as drawing, painting, sculpture and three-dimensional construction. All these experiences help our students to explore, imagine and create more.
The vibrancy and excitement of music add a lot of colour to the Richmond Experience as we encourage our students to perform in a wide range of ensembles across age, year and instrument levels.
All students are given the opportunity to study, practice & explore music as they progress through the years at the school. The school aims to provide a range of performance opportunities for students starting with informal soirees to school concert events.
The drama programme at Richmond International teaches students to experiment with mime, vocal, improvisation, script and movement at all levels. Our culture of inclusiveness and expression manifests our drive for drama as it enhances our links with culture & society. Drama practices provide an essential experiential learning opportunity for our students to broaden and deepen their knowledge and skills.
Richmond International will have oriental/western dancing for students to enhance their soft skills further and to appreciate the finer things in life.
