The Richmond Experience – School Life
Early Learning
Early learning is where a lifetime of learning begins and the exciting first steps of a future leader!
We provide more opportunities for exploration and discovery with more play time & less homework for our young learners. Programmes are carefully crafted with teacher-directed fun learning activities that cover various attention spans, interest levels and learning styles.
We encourage our young learners to wonder, be self-confident and be connected to the natural world, with the aim of sparking curiosity to help them flourish as the individuals they are, within a safe and nurturing environment.
Lower, Middle and Upper School
Our aim is to make all our students academically successful individuals who use their minds well to respond thoughtfully, ethically and with proactive action to personal, community and global challenges.
We provide individual attention for each student where teachers carefully monitor each student’s progress in building competence in all academic subjects while co-curricular activities broaden students’ learning experience.
Learning Technologies
With exposure to a wide range of technologies, across multiple platforms, our students are future ready with a higher level of confidence and proficiency to navigate the world they move in.
Early Access
We encourage access to hardware that includes tablets and desktop computers to allow our students to embrace the new technology as early as possible.
Bring your own technology
The Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) programme for Years 11 – 12 supports our educational philosophy of higher expectations around self-management, offering choice and flexibility to facilitate personalised learning and make our students ready for the world beyond Richmond International gates.
The Richmond Technology Centre/ Information Technology
The aim is to stimulate our students to become creative, entrepreneurial and innovative makers with access to coding, designing, robotics, electronics, building and crafting to empower them to create the future they want to see.
Richmond e-Learning System
The Richmond e-Learning System enables the whole school community to communicate, collaborate and support learning.
